Private Trails
We do have some private trails for you to enjoy during your stay! They are labeled below via the photos, so that you can get an idea of the scenery that you will experience on each one.
The red trail takes you to state property. On state property, you may see a few people on their trail, but you shouldn't see many, if any.
The Orange Trail - It is the main trail, located right out the back door. It takes you in a small loop around the property. All the other trails jettison off the main orange trails.
The Red Trail - This trail takes you to Table Top Rock and state property. The line between our private property and state property is painted in yellow on trees. You are allowed anywhere on state property during daylight hours. We recommend going off trail and exploring state property. It is really neat and you can see caves, waterfalls, rock canyons and other beautiful rock formations! If you go onto state property, you will connect to their blue trail, the Buckeye Trail.
The Blue Trail – This trail takes you to a neat rock formation.
The Pink Trails - The pink trails are secondary trails that take you to certain rock formations and other beautiful scenery. They just dart off the main orange trail. Most of these trails dead-end, so you have to come back the same way you went. We currently only have 3 pink trails.
Other trails - We currently have other trails that are not marked that dart off the orange trail. Don’t be afraid to take them. We just haven’t had a chance to make them!
Notes about the trails - Unfortunately, at this time, none of the trails are handicap accessible, even though we do plan to make a handicap accessible trail. All of the trails are relatively short. However, if you make it onto state land, you will be in the Hocking State Forest and their blue trails (the Buckeye trails) encircles the state. We highly recommend hiking onto the state property. All trails are at your own risk, so be careful when hiking!
